anyone have a great recipe to share? What are your favorites?
This one is based off of a Kilkenny cream ale clone- without the nitro head...thoughts?

IBU 20
12.5 SRM
EST ABV 5.6%
7lb pale malt
3lb wheat malt
1lb carared
.5lb flaked oaks
1.8oz chocolate malt
1.6oz black barley
.7oz Northern 90min
.1oz fuggles @ 15min
.1oz fuggles @ 1min
maybe White Labs WLP004 Irish Ale Yeast???

Not sure on the grain build, however have you looked at Willamette for your flavoring and aroma? Are you planning on sticking to style or are you open to interpretation?
I think a West coast Red would be a fun beer to make.

I kinda wanted to stay in Ireland lol.
4 of us are each bringing a keg...so one irish stout...one irish red ale...I was thinking maybe an irish bitter and a cream ale?

I did a 23 l batch from BCS and its great...I know its 170g of C40, C120, and roasted barely(170 g for each). The rest was base malt. There was a 60 min hop addition of EKG for 23-25 ibus...of 1052 and fg approx 1012. I used wyeast 1084 for yeast.
