Belgium Town Ale

Post by McLean101 » Sun Mar 09, 2014 10:32 am

Trying my hand at what I think would be a Belgian Witbier today, which I call Belgium Town Ale:

5 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) CAN (2.0 SRM) Grain 1 50.0 %
2 lbs Wheat Malt, CAN (2.0 SRM) Grain 2 20.0 %
2 lbs Wheat Malt, Dark (7.5 SRM) Grain 3 20.0 %
1 lbs Wheat, Flaked (1.6 SRM) Grain 4 10.0 %
1.00 oz Goldings, East Kent [7.20 %] - Boil 60.0 min Hop 5 25.9 IBUs
1.00 oz Cascade [7.10 %] - Boil 10.0 min Hop 6 9.3 IBUs
1.40 g Seeds of Paradise (Boil 5.0 mins) Spice
0.80 oz Coriander Seed (Boil 5.0 mins) Spice
0.80 oz Orange Peel, Bitter (Boil 5.0 mins) Spice
1.0 pkg Safbrew Wheat (DCL/Fermentis #WB-06) [50.28 ml] Yeast

Wish me luck!
