Raspberry Hefeweizen

Hi there,

I'm hoping to brew a raspberry hefeweizen in the next week or so. I have a Hank's Hefeweizen kit from Midwest Supplies, and am wondering how best to go about adding raspberry. I was talking to the owner at the Sackville, NB U-Brew store and she said that you can get a great raspberry puree locally but she didn't remember the name. Does anybody know of a good one to use? Or would you suggest using frozen raspberries instead?
Also, how much would you use to get a solid fruit flavour? Not overwhelming, but definitely having a significant presence.

Thanks for the help, and I hope I posted this in the right place. First time using a forum of any kind!

Oregon purees are available at Noble Grape and are very convenient. IIRC, they are 3-5 lbs. I'd say use one to two cans. Or use frozen. Add either to the secondary.

That must have been what the lady at the brewing store was talking about!
Thanks anyway!
