Brewing with...Pineapple?

Hey everyone,

I decided to do a Pale Ale this morning and after doing some research (and knowing the wife's preferences), I wanted to try a Pineapple Pale Ale. Found a recipe online (either Brewersfriend or Brewtoad) and it says to add the fresh cut pineapple with 15min left in your boil. Since checking that, I've found a few other posts on Homebrewers Talk saying to add it to your secondary fermentation as the Pineapple is too acidic for the boil, and can also ruin you first stage.

Anyone have thoughts on this? Just started heating wort for my boil (60min), so if I don't hear in an hour, I think I'll drop it into secondary. Thanks!! :cheers2:

I did 10 Min's but 15 should be fine. Fresh is fine. Just cube it fairly small. I've also used juice which worked well.
