Deep dark brown. Nice roasty aroma. Balanced malt to bitterness flavour. Hops coming through a bit herbal to me. Good body and carbonation. I like it!

Drinking this now and rather enjoying it. Another one where letting it warm up is key. When cold I mostly got the roast flavors from the chocolate malt; as it warmed the crystal came through along with the hops. I like cluster in a darker beer and this is no exception. Very smooth and enjoyable beer. Thanks!!

Very nice beer. I like the chocolaty malt character. It's interesting how rich and malty you can get it with just a simple malt bill. The carb is a bit low but I think it suits this beer. I poured it quite vigorously so it ended up with a very creamy head. I am getting a weird almost metallic grassy character in the beer, and after I checked the recipe thought it might be because of the local hops. It's not too out of place though. No noticeable diacetyl so looks like you tamed ringwood. Thanks!

Thanks for the comments!

I had one of these today as well, since I have a few left in stock. Cellar temperature for a warm day like today and it was quite enjoyable. It was the first one of the bunch that I had already warmed up instead of fridge temperature. It makes a big difference in the flavour as mumblecrunch mentioned.

I drank this one today as well. Great beer. I drank it cold. But it warmed up nicely.

Drinking this now, overall it's good. I'm getting a metallic/grassy aftertaste too (I actually wrote this before I read Adam's comment so it's independent). The body is a bit light for me but it fits with the mash temp and grain bill. Mine has a nice carb and it's definitely smooth.

Thanks!
