I based this recipe off of one I found in the Beer Smith recipe database. After making the beersmith version, I wanted it a little more bitter so I upped the bittering charge from 0.5 to 1oz. Doing so I pushed the IBUs outside of the actual IPA category but whatever.
I've never had the real thing, but I really like this recipe.
