Here's a handle made from scraps of Jatoba and Maple glued together, pictures do this no justice at all.

I like those very much. Especially the first one. The colours in there are the colours you might find in various different beers. Except maybe for the beige colour, not sure, maybe there's a beige beer out there. A person could select woods based on their colour being representative of the different coulours found in beer. Maybe some ash to represent the head. Then the handle could match the colours of the beer it would pour: eg. Yellow and white handle for Lager.
