Now I have an entire stainless tower and bar top. :)
I'm going to be using a Stainless Steel Drywall mud pan. Just need to find one that is 16-20". 14" ones are slightly too small.

Just think! for twice as much money you could have got this from future shop. I don't think it has CO2 and regulator either...or kegs:

Id still vote for making your own, but they're not all bad.
Comes with CO2 tank & reg (empty), and its a larger mini fridge then you can find elsewhere.
Don't pay futureshop prices tho! Costco is $449 Shipped.

Drip tray: I found a Magnetic Tool Tray (kinda like: http://www.princessauto.com/pal/en/Tool ... /8414815.p" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, but black) at Princess Auto that works quite nicely.

I'm loving the hell out of this fridge!
The Beer just above freezing, I pull out a Frosted mug, and voila I have sub zero on tap! I had a nice layer of slushy foam on top that lasted the entire beer. It's hard to stop at 2 glasses lol.

When I had my own focus group facility I had a 'professional' kegerator like the one pictured, a danby.

There were these guys in moncton who sold them on ebay, i got one single tower, keg and co2 delivered for 600 bucks.
I thought that was pretty good considering how good it looked and it included everything needed to dispense beer.

I had it for 2 years and sold it in Toronto for 500 so not bad I think.

So I'm pretty sure I have my drip tray. Now just need to find someone who can cut and bend aluminum.

Welcome to kegging. You always feel like you should be brewing more.

HAHA. Kegged my West Coast IPA and Euro lager last night. 2 kegs being forced carbed @ 30 psi for 2 days then dropping to 6 PSI for serving. I have it at 10 PSI right now, but it's foamy as hell. Calculator says I'm over carbonating it as I'm running the fridge at just above freezing.

I used to be a fan of "rocky mountain cold" also, but I find with more flavorful beers its actually better to be a bit warmer (~40F). Near freezing takes alot of the taste out YMMV.

Do I run my beer too cold? It was soooo good tho. Altho as it warmed up the flavors did stand out more.

Also my buddy is building me a 18" drip tray. and well in light of overcoming my wifes objections on the kegerator... I've decided to create a 8*8" magnet as I found a sheet of magnet paper at work...

If you like it that way, then of course not. You may be loosing some of the flavor of certain beers, but IMHO whatever you like is the best way.

My keezer runs at 38f. But I let the beer warm up a bit before drinking.
