I had one of the 10,000w units and switched to the Stilldragon DIY kit and couldn't be happier. I had one of those eBay ones heat up like crazy and stop working (luckily without catastrophic consequences).

In a box. I am sure with better ventilation it would have been fine. I've built the new control box with proper ventilation for the ssr
