My Keezer has failed. It's an old Woods Freezer that I unplugged two weeks ago because it was empty and I decided to clean it up. I plugged it in yesterday to chill a keg before force-carbing and there is no chill at all. Turns on just fine, but has no freeze/chilling at all. Left it on all night, and it's room temperature inside
Anyone have any suggestions/experiences with a fail keezer or know of someone local they can recommend that I can get out here to Eastern Passage take a look at this thing?
Thanks, Tom

Re: Oh no! Keezer Fail
The first one I built was a woods that I picked up for 40 bucks. It failed 5-6 months after building, that was when I decided I would buy new and convert it so I did not have to go through that trouble again.
Sorry for your loss.

When you cleaned it did you put it on its side? Sometimes when freezers are moved too drastically, they need to sit for a while before they can be plugged in.
Why brew beer I can buy?

No it did not go on its side. Just unplugged and some condensation inside cleaned and taps cleaned as well.

Can you elaborate "it turns o just fine" ?
I'm thinking if you here the click it might be the relay.
Or if you feel the compressor working...

To elaborate a bit, the freezer sounds like it is functioning. So the compressor, I believe it is, is on and is warm to the touch. It has a slight vibration when running. I let it run until the morning and no change at all.

Try unplugging it, let it sit on its back for half a day or so. Stand it back up and let it sit overnight before plugging in again.

I have a fully kegged beer sealed with CO2. Since my keezer is done for the time being, how long can a beer last in the keg without spoiling? I assume it will be fine for awhile.
