Kegerator no 2

Post by jimboh » Mon Dec 19, 2016 2:44 pm

This ones in my games room behind the bar. Gas is in cupboard and magnets on front hide where i changed from door tap to tower.
Tower has upgraded insulation and copper pipes for cooling though at this time of year cooling is not the issue as the games room is only heated when I have company.
Hence the ST1000 and the bulb in the bottom of the fridge (not very clear in pic). This comes on when temp falls below 2c. and stops my beer from freezing.
Works well, was -15 in the games room last week and fridge didn't fall below set temp.

Yes and that is with a simple nightlight 7w bulb.
I thought I might need to use a 40W but the 7 seems to be doing the trick.
Added bonus, I can lower it down to 0 and use it for lagering!
