Have a deep freeze in the garage that crapped out so it's going to be re-purposed for a fermentation chamber for the 'colder' periods of the year. Picked up the cheap and cheery ITC-1000 knock off and a project box from eBay for $20 all in. Works really well, I haven't checked it with a thermometer to see how far I'm off so calibrating it is the next step. I have a little coffee can heater on the inside of the freezer that will be my heat source for now. As the relay in the controller can only handle 10A I've had to do some searching for a low-watt space heater, I was able to source one that is 250W...probably give that a go.
Very slowly, I'm getting the parts together for an electric set up, I hope to start posting pictures of that soon.
