Just seeing this thread now. Went right into electric when I started into all grain based on input and lack of a garage. You will enjoy it, especially in February. I like your idea of a separate room as mine is next to the woodpile. Do you have any more pictures of finished room? Got me thinking.

Doesn't look a whole lot different at the moment, still haven't gotten around to throwing on any mud or tape. Only difference at the moment is that I replaced my small HLT with a 30 gal. SS Brewtech kettle.

Gotcha. Did you ever think of putting something like plastic sheeting over walls instead due to moisture issue? I know tile is used but expensive.

I have a 760 CFM range hood and an HRV running in the house so moisture hasn’t been an issue the 3 or 4 times I’ve brewed so far.

before you fill your cracks for a permanent space, check behind the drywall for mold, might be worth it to do so. As a suggestion, if your not planning to crackfill anytime soon, get some tuck tape and go over the seams.
