Thermometer install on 10g cylindrical mash tun

Post by Ladd » Sat Aug 10, 2013 3:52 pm

Hey all,

Just finished installing a 3" thermometer with a 6" probe on my mash tun. It leaked on the first few tests but a second o-ring installed between the thermometer and the out side of the tun took care of that! Here is the final product. I documented the install and wrote up a little ditty on how I did it with a few pictures and will attach it as a PDF in case anyone is interested.

Not a bad idea, keep it from getting smashed around.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
