I'm hoping you folks could clarify or give me some info on going with a Keezer or building a kegerator.
Why use a keezer? Is temperature control (using a controller) on a freezer better than with the same controller on a fridge? I'm seeing it being easier to load Cornys into a fridge rather than through the top of a chest freezer. Thanks in advance for your help.

Depending on the size the of freezer, it'll likely hold more kegs than fridge. Even though a fridge looks easier to load, when the keg at the very back of the fridge kicks, it's a pain in the ass to take all the other kegs out to remove the empty.

I've only ever used a fridge (bar fridge style, holding 2 kegs), but AFAIK, the benefit to using a keezer would generally be in the amount of kegs you can hold. I believe there are moisture issues with keezers, but that's likely worth the trade-off if you're looking at a 4+ keg setup.

While we're on the subject of kegerators, anybody here use a standard size fridge as their kegerator? I've seen a few pics of them and they seem ok. Doesn't look like it would be too hard to convert. Those fridges are always on kijiji for $50-100.

I use a standard size (maybe 18cu.ft.) fridge for my kegerator, fits 5 kegs plus 20lb CO2 just fine. Please the doors can be used for bottles, and the freezer as a backup for the main one. Very happy with it.

I have a full size fridge as my kegerator. The bonus, at least in my case, is that I surrendered the freezer portion to my wife and she now loves the idea of a kegerator. OK, love may be too strong of a word, perhaps tolerate is better.

I've been thinking of making my beer fridge into a kegorator simply because I'm a lazy bastard and hauling kegs in and out of a keezer with a collar would be more work than simply tossing it into a fridge.
