Pics for a complete press

First off, I did NOT make this press, but it seems like it would be more or less easy enough to copy the design.
It has an auger to grind up the apples, a barrel where they fall into and a big screw that you turn to press the apples. Grapes or anything else work great too.

Can you get enough torque on the "big screw that you turn to press the apples" with the short handle? My parents have a similar looking press but use a 4' long 2"x4" to turn the big screw.

Once I greased the screw I have had little to no problem, although it gets tricky to compress them near the end.
The auger grinds the apples up first though, so it isn't pressing whole apples btw
