Plumbing Advise

Post by Jeeepman » Mon Mar 17, 2014 11:30 am

I am in the process of adding a sink in my basement brewing area. I made the jump and purchased a sink after I saw AllanMar post and set up. My problem is being as impatient as I am I bought a used pre-rinse sprayer locally because I didn’t want to wait the 2 to 3 weeks to order a new one, and my sink was ready to pick up Friday. Now my problem is the sprayer is a deck mount and not wall mount. Now that I have my sink it has two holes pre-drilled for wall mount. I do not want to leave the sink with the holes exposed and I was wondering if anyone has or knows of a place to get a wall mount faucet locally (Moncton) for a reasonable price. Image

Can we see a picture of the sprayer. I think you can get fittings to convert deck mount to wall mount (you can with bath taps any way).

Try ifoodequipment.com they are based in Moncton and will have a used one. They may trade it for your deck mount.

The resturant supply places often carry them. Make sure it comes with or you get the fittings to mount it, they can be tough to find.

Well I finally got it set up. I ended up staying with the deck mount (im cheap) I have to say what a difference having a sink right next to work area.

Looks really good. I'd be very pleased if I had that setup. Washing/cleaning is a huge part of brewing and streamlining that part of it must make a big difference to enjoyment of your brew day.
