Web - plastic multi-conical build w/chiller

http://plasticconical.com/system-overview

Looks like an impressive set up. The author provides a lot of information about the build. The base plastic conicals look to be only 60 bucks each!

Neat. I could see myself doing a similar build when I finally get around to putting in a garage/workshop/brewhouse. I don't think I'd bother with the glycol jackets -- at least not right away -- but I like the idea of a cheap and easy DIY conical.

Where, locally, would one find the base conical? Or is this a must-order-from-away kind of thing?

:cheers:

I think you can find them in Nova Scotia and / or New Brunswick. IIRC Dave @ Everwood has one. Ottiscan has one too: http://www.brewnosers.org/forums/viewto ... =41&t=6204" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You could get away with water cooling instead of glycol, except maybe in the dead of summer in a hot space.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

I have a sixth sense feeling there's going to be a new commercial brewery in the valley in the next year or two. "Tukamore's Famous Beers" maybe with rabbits on the labels. Probably have a U-brew attached. Oh, and a fork lift, of course. :D
