The Hoopty - Ghetto Jockey Box
Well this was inexpensive to build and is complete.
Most of this is used or something I had kicking around the house.
Pressure test tomorrow.

Re: The Hoopty - Ghetto Jockey Box
Less than $70 invested. We should build one for the brewnosers.
Jeramy would volunteer the cold plate.
Does anyone have a old cooler? If not $23 at walmart.
Most the lines can be reused, and would be around $30 to finish from Daves.
If someone has the cooler. I'll get the rest and build another.

Looks great. A large chunk of that chilling plate looks like it will be in contact with the insulated bottom of the cooler, but you are probably planning to put some ice under it or blocks. would a smaller cooler work for that plate? if anyone were buying a cooler. On the other hand ...there's room in there for other stuff like cans, bottles, hot dogs etc on a camping trip.

Re: The Hoopty - Ghetto Jockey Box
It apparently worked too well and killed my beer supply on the weekend.

It's a cheap cooler, but about 24 hours. the cooler wasn't stocked to the top with ice either. 1 bag under, 2 on top. We also used it for other beverages so it was constantly being opened.

I picked up the plate from Jeramy. However ebay seems to have a ton.
