Keith's Brew Log

Post by Keith » Wed Aug 20, 2014 8:25 pm

So well I haven't been keeping a "formal log" so I figure I'm going to create a post with everything I'm doing from here out.
Sundays brew will be 10 gallons of Nut Brown.

Will create a separate post for each brew day. May have to edit a few times.

Why don't you just get off your wallet and pay $25 for beersmith, that keeps track of everything for you and saves us room on the server for important beer stuff
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Our house PC is hooked up to our TV. I can hardly ever get on it for any extended period of time, and BB doesn't have a beer smith app. However with that being said, I never knew it tracked your brew history. :cheers2:

Blackberry doesnt, but andriod does, so if you are running a new blackberry you can sideload a lot of andriod apps.

Beersmith for Android runs just fine on a Q10, so have to expect it will run on the Z10

I have Snap installed so it's sideloaded from the Google play store.

The lite app doesn't let you edit recipes. You'll probably want the full one.

The hardest part of switching over to my Chromebook was not being able to use Beersmith. I use the Mobile app on my Galaxy S3 but it's not the same :(

I tried dual booting my Chromebook with Ubuntu (Crouton) in order to install and run Beersmith in as some claim to have done, but I can't find a working source code for the program...

I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe
