Yup, I need a lawyer to mediate the incorporation process. Apply within.

Thanks

Doug Stevenson at Quackenbush did mine. Was a while ago but I think it was pretty straight forward.

What do you mean mediate?

If you mean just sign the fucking forms, use corporation centre and save yourself $700

Well, I actually need a little more then simple incorporation, but it's good to know there's that option.

I'm going to incorporate a company as well. I was thinking of filling out the forms the government gave me and paying my $500 at the business registry. Is that a bad idea?

To make a long story short, setting up a multi-tier trust to incorporate this and another business, doing a section 85 rollover with exemption clause and the associated financial juggling of putting a hold on the books while transferring assets over the the trust and the associated headaches that will go along with it. That you can not do without a lawyer, well, you can, but you need a law degree.

Call a real accounting firm & get their fav lawyer. CCRA is super picky re trusts. IANAL.
