St John's Beer Festival April 13th 2013
I hear St John's Ale House if hosting a 2nd annual beer festival on April 13th from 7-9pm. I was curious if anyone know's how much tickets are and if tickets will still be available day of the event? I'm interested in driving over (coming from PEI) for the weekend and checking out the event. Does any one have accommodation recommendations? Has anyone attended and if so how was the event?
Prost.

Tickets are $60 and they will be available the day of the event providing they aren't sold out. I attended and worked last year's event and it was pretty good. I believe that the SJ Beerfest has a very similar showing that Fredericton's recent beerfest. If you plan on going, try staying the either the Hilton or the Delta. You can walk to Harbour Station via indoor pedways from both of those hotels.

Welcome to this part of the world, where we have a Saint John, NB (usually spelled out like that) and a St. John's, Newfoundland (usually shortened)! I've heard stories of my colleagues flying into one, when they thought they'd booked a ticket to the other, etc.
Tickets are by phone or in person from Harbour Station Box Office and are $60. Seems like there are still tix available. http://www.saintjohnalehouse.com/beerfest" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I won't be going, BJCP exam that day.
Canuck, are you going/working it?

Saint John, NB is not abbreviated, ever. They'll get all ornery if you try to do so. Or at least, in my personal experience.
