Some great shots there! I gotta say, those last ones are FAR too classy to reflect the late night atmosphere I witnessed on the feed (and I went to bed at 9:30 pm mountain time.. and you kids were still going strong). Looks like Chalmers finally took a little nappy poo.
No food shots..

Oh gosh. That's not a flattering shot at all. Oh well, true life isn't always pretty.

Wait a minute.. you were in some of the ones you took! How did you pull that off.. (obv somebody else grabbed it for an artsy shot of you). Nice job on the photos, makes a fella want to pick up the ole DSLR and take it to events.CorneliusAlphonse wrote:Hey my pics made it! Re: Hoptoberfest 2013 - Sept 28
I've been feeling bad that I only made a flying visit, as I only had a couple of hours because the little boy wouldn't stay with Baby sitter. There were hundreds of people that I wanted to meet and just managed to say a quick hi Hi to a few, Brewnoser and RubberToe spring to mind. I hope I didn't seem rude tearing around, looking after a kid at the same time. Didn't get to try all the beers also. I tried JuniperHill's beer and couldn't find him again before we had to leave. So glad I made it though, if only for short time.

The bread turned out better than my Anchor Steam Clone, so the grains used on brew day were not a total loss.

Thanks to Mr. X and his wife for hosting, I had a great time putting names to faces whilst slowing drinking myself into a comatose state.

I had a blast, highlight of the evening was watching Liverdance tap the "secrete Big Spruce keg" and get a mouthful of Cleaner
Can anyone remember what the label said? Oxician or something?

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

I'm late on this, but thanks to Mr. X and Shelley for hosting, EZ was sad she couldn't make it down.
And thanks for letting me have a power nap before resuming drinking, and then getting home safe in a cab.
