I was hoping to come down with Jeff and Redoubt, but Jeff is down for the day, Redoubt is saving their energy for the Gala on Thursday and I don't think my buggered up hip from slipping on the ice (people keep telling be I fell because I'm getting old, which doesn't help in the slightest) will take a long car ride. Wish you guys would do this kind of thing on a Saturday/Sunday afternoon on occasion as with the long drive it's difficult for far away peeps who have to get up at the crack to go to work the next morning. Have fun tonight. Sorry to miss it.

I'm eyeing those yeast test tubes! That small erlenmeyer flask looks good for stepping up yeast cultures too. Anyone I know going from Dartmouth in case they're left homeless?

There is even a guide to culturing yeast for the homebrewer, I used to do it. before I got lazy. Also pipettes.

And that piece of wood is, believe it or not, an actual small slat of the Beechwood in the famous "beechwood ageing" process used by you know who.

I didn't manage to snap any pictures, but I believe there were 23 in attendance, and plenty of great beer shared. Also managed to clear out some grain and corny and mini kegs (Tim, I have a critical piece to the Beer King item you took), and lots of bottles.

Great to see y'all and especially to meet the new faces. Thanks for sharing your time and beer with us!
