Mark, there is room for you to bring two different beers, no problem. I'll pm you my address.

For any of you that specified entering 1 or 2 beers, there will be room for 2 entries.

Also there is still room for a few entries.

If there is room, I'd like to have a second entry.

Just a reminder, the judging will be happening this Saturday so for those who haven't yet, make sure to submit your beers.

Didn't get my beers submitted by yesterday's deadline. Any chance someone could pick up me entries today? Working at the Quinpool Noble Grape until 3:00. Would be around my apartment on Agricola after then. Thanks.

Today's the day. :spilly:

There's one I sent that that I can't get my head around. It's not quite right. I kept drinking it last night to try and sort out what it was. :drunk:

You guys will get to the bottom of it for me.

Thanks

:cheers2:

The event is done. There were 12 entries and 5 judges (including myself). The way the ratios worked out, each judge judged every beer. With regards to the quality of the entries, let me say wow, the quality of the entries was fabulous. Well done people! There was a wide range of categories entered and not one repeated style. Everything from Cal Common, to IIPA, to Dusseldorf altbier to Russian Imperial stout. You really put our skills to the test. As was mentioned before there will be no overall scoring by the judges on who had the best entry, because this was not the purpose of the event. The purpose was to get meaningful feedback on brews. Hopefully we will be able to continue these events a few times a year and I think it would be a good idea for judges who are not BJCP certified but who are interested in learning could attend.

For the people that opted for a digital copy of their score sheets, they should expect them within a week or two to give the judges time to scan them.

A big thanks to the judges and the entrants. These types of things work because of you.
Cheers,
Adam

Ok folks, I just sent out an e-mail with digital copies of all the scoresheets for those who chose that option. If anybody didn't receive them that wanted them please pm me. It's possible I typed your e-mail address in wrong.

Thanks again to everybody! This was fun and I look forward to the next one.
