It is, very, but I think I just noticed an error, shouldn’t the apostrophe in Brewnosers come after the s? Brewnosers’ Homebrew Competition, rather than Brewnoser’s homebrew competition. Unless this is Jeff Pinhey's competition of course

Okay, after a huge, ridiculous situation involving solving a major site disaster, Brewer of the Year is back online, and we’ve begun to get the competitions for the 2015 circuit posted. I know that there are a few competitions with deadlines coming up immediately, and I definitely apologize for the delay in getting the site live and updated. With any luck, we won’t experience this problem again. Sigh. That being said, if you’re a competitor, you can stay tuned for more competition listings to pop up as we receive information about them. If you’re a competition director, please contact us as soon as possible, so we can make sure everyone is aware of your competition.

Thanks for your patience, and I would like to wish all this season’s competitors the best of luck!

I was working on the page today. I just need to access to upload logos and we're ready to go public. Details are set.

We have received sponsorship from Noble Grape (drop off and storage location) and Best Case DIY Craft Beer (Grand Prize: BOS Winner becomes beer kit to be sold across Canada)

Waiting to hear back from one other major sponsor before finishing the ad poster.

What I need from people:

- Contact all the Canadian Clubs with details - Jon
- Submit our details to breweroftheyear.com - Mark
- Email LHBS to ask them to post our poster in store for their customers. - Sandy
- Create a Facebook event page with our details and a clear link to the registration page. -Adam
- Sponsorship ideas - does anyone work somewhere or know someone that would be able/interested in sponsoring? Prizes?

I think Jon said he would do the first one? (3 posts up). I can do #2 and contact brewer of the year. Let me know when to do that please.

Did you decide to limit entries to 200 for this first run? Wertgogs and Mountainview just gone by were just under 200. Werthogs had a 200 limit, I think a limit of 10 entries per person is a very good idea too for a small competition, otherwise one person will dominate everything.

ps. I contacted the brewer of the year site. Will let you know when I hear back.

Do you guys want to hear something funny? We're changing the date.

May 9 is now the open brewery day, so no point in doubling up events. May 10 is Mother's Day.
Next weekend is 16/17, most of our guys plan on attending the CBW events. Plus it's the long weekend.

That leaves the weekend of May 23/24. Can anyone think of a reason why we can't judge on that weekend?

I was just about to say I could judge on May 9th. I can't do the 23/24, going to the wedding of close friends. If judging is required on the Friday evening I can probably do that, either week.
