I could get you as far as Truro. It'll likely be a relatively early departure time for me Sunday morning.benwedge wrote:I feel like a politician. I'm back in. Tentatively. I am heading down to Antigonish the following morning instead of spending the weekend up there.
Speaking of which: is anyone headed to Antigonish on the Sunday morning? I need to be there for a late lunch.

Re: Hoptoberfest 2013 - Sept 28
I'll bring a cosco volume of pretzels and a bowl.
also some brothers pepperoni and a grilling basket (unless it will get in the way of sausage production). X?
Beer wise I'm bringing a 1/2 full keg of munich dunkel and a growler of something else.
will anyone have spare connections for a pin lock keg?

We are all set for gas, please bring a thumb tap or something to serve it on/by. I'm unsure what X has for space tower-wise.

That old serving box is now a cottage fixture, so it won't be available this year. Sorry...I will have one pin lock thumb tap.
Maritimer, bring the pepperoni.

I'll be there with a keg of something maybe either amarillo lager or williamette dry hopped pale ale. A friend may tag along but unconfirmed. Is there any other sides/snacks needed? What about some cookies or something?

Any small snack will be fine. I'm planning on 120 sausages. How are the mustard and sauerkraut crews progressing? I will have financial support for these.

Re: Hoptoberfest 2013 - Sept 28
I'll bring lots of mustard, some dry-hopped mustard, and maybe some IPA or imperial stout mustard. I ran into a of a beer supply problem sinceI can only ferment and/or lager one beer at a time and I've been making a Pilsner (a failed attempt) and a Bock (currently lagering) so I won't have any beer to contribute. Will this be a problem? Also, no need for financial support on my mustard front.

Don't worry about beer if you're bringing the mustard.

I'm in, but my wife doesn't know if she can yet. I haven't figured out my beer and snack contributions yet.

Looks like I'll have a friend coming along too. I didn't bottle my IPA in time to carbonate so I'm borrowing a keg to bring it.

I'm hoping to bring a keg of American Amber and a keg of IPA, but the IPA may not be ready in time. I have two friends planning to tag along. I can arrange some snacks if need be.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

Re: Hoptoberfest 2013 - Sept 28
Sounds like there's going to be a crap-ton of kegs there. Since I'm travelling from Pictou County a keg will be a little logistically impractical. I hope to somehow bring some of my Weed Feed and Mow and likely a snack/side of something

Our little boy wouldn’t stay at the baby sitters last night and we had to go and get him in the night, it was kind of a trial run, so I don’t think we can come down this year, it would be too far away.
Hope you all have a great time
