The only way to make it visible to members only would be to move it to the group buys forums - visibility is set by the forum, not the topic.

All it would need is to be only viewable to people who are logged in, like the big Spruce comp. thread and Mooovember. Does that open up any more possibilities?

I did find that seeing pictures of members and their families makes the site more sociable for me. Particularly people who live far away and I’m unlikely to ever meet. Many people have sensitive jobs (self included) and I believe lots of people don’t like posting pictures of their families and children on the internet at large. I could be wrong about that though.

I think it might be a lot of work to move a thread, so may not be worth the trouble.

Yep, once it warms up. Going to host a Brew Nosers event hopefully. I'll need to ship the wife and kids out tho hahaha.
