I dont think its going to be easy, and with working as many hours as i do, its going to be non stop between now and July. I will need to focus on some weak spots like tasting, German styles, food pairing and beer draught systems. I worked in a couple of pubs in the UK, but we used drastically different components.

So who else want to go for this? I'd be up for joining a study group. Getting together to do some studying, tasting, off flavour ident, and that kind of stuff? I'm out near Windsor, but i work in Bedford, so there's no hassle getting into the city.

Let me know if anyone is interested?

Cool! Three months, that is plenty of time to devote to studying, but I'd say make the commitment now, and stick with it.

If you haven't already, check in to here for other local, but not Brewnosers, folks: https://www.facebook.com/groups/456662347766392" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I believe there may be one or two of the Stillwell crew doing it. It may also be worth emailing the Cicerone folks to see if there has been other people sign up.

The Brewnosers monthly meetings can be a good place to try a little bit of a lot of beers, and chat with the homebrewers who made them, to ask about their process. Or if it's a commercial beer, at least you'll have the label or online info to reference. And if you want to host a non-second-Tuesday-of-the-month tasting, with the specific goal of study/judging, post up, as some of the BJCP folks may be interested in taking part. And some homebrewers may be willing to donate beer.
