Along with some epic beer there will be a Kamado display of awesomeness.
It should look like the picture below.
Might even convert some veggy eaters.

So I'm bringing the meat. Let's hope we can get some sides going for it.
Also I have a bunch of 1/2" polycarbonate tubing if anyone needs some. Free to anyone who needs it.
Also I have a bunch of glass carboys going for the price of.... showing up and taking them.

And yes, tasting the 2 versions of the Shocker is the only way to get into this party!

Craziness. Still planning to be there. My brother and I will be bringing some beer (do you have a spare picnictap/ball lock co2 connection?). And were planning to cook a side or two but won't have been home since early friday- so we will see if that works out.
planning: beer for my cousin's wedding
Fermenting: black ipa
Conditioning:
Kegged: barrel barleywine from 2014 - i think i still have this somewhere

I realise it's short notice, but are there any PEI Aleanders heading to this? Or would there be any interested?

Haven't broached the subject yet with the GF but I know she has plans for most of Saturday, so if there were 2-3 Islanders interested in carpooling over to split the fuel/bridge costs I could probably wrangle it. As long as HP has room for us to crash of course.

Would need to leave by 10:30am on Sunday at the latest.

Lots of room for people to stay. The more the merrier.
And of course there will be some pics taken.

I'm in for that haha, will be my first time. But it will be early on for me!
As for a carboy I'd take one if you got it, one of mine just developed a hairline crack and need to replace it.

Do you have any requests for sides?

No requests really. Maybe just post what you are bringing.
We can keep a tally for it.

Kathleen is making a couple of bowls of fresh salad or home made salsa to bring. I'm going to bring a half sized keg beer also.

equals bad news! Yikes! Too late to back out?

Thanks, Mark, I like your version better. I think you give me a bit too much credit but I don't mind coming off as a bit of a bad-ass. :)

Trying to make it. I found out last minute that I have to leave for NL this weekend...I hope to still make it, but not sure if I'll be there as late as I would have been otherwise.

Good thing I checked the thread before hitting the grocery store this AM, I had been planning on Mac & Cheese, but I know it can't compete with Nash's.

And that Chili looks wicked too! Getting hungry.

I really like cornbread, but have never made it before... I dunno if this is the right time to learn, tho.

Aah, what the hell, I'll do it. Sorry in advance if it ain't great!

What are folks' ETAs in Coldbrook? Mid-afternoon?

Edit: G-Rock's post answers that question. :)

I'll be there around 3:30. I'm bringing a potato salad with cayenne peppered bacon and green onion. Hope you guys are thirsty because I have two coolers packed up. Any beer drinkers around?

Cornbread is super easy to make. Chef Michael Smith has a great recipe on his site.
