Thanks Jeff. Didn't see this till after I made them. I did find a simple recipe than incorporated beer, so I went for it. Used a homebrewed Brown ale, added some bacon. And half of the batch has fresh jalapeños on top. The mild ones are a bit overdone, even the minimum time was too long. Learned for the hot ones. Sorry!
I bought Sobeys out of cornmeal, so was only able to do 24 muffins, hopefully that's enough to go around.

Kathleen's made a big bowl of fresh cilantro and garlic salsa. I got my beer ready and bottled the competition beer for Chalmers to collect (thanks)....stressed about that. First time I've done it. Think I did it OK.
