As much as I'd love to eat a smoked pig, the "free" bit is very appealing. Now to find a way to get down from Saint John with a keg. Will I need to find a way to bring CO2 & something to chill it or will someone have a spare tap on a jockey box that I could clip into? (Ball lock/Pepsi). I may have to give up and bring 2-3 growlers depending how the next few weeks go.mr x wrote:After reviewing the situation, i think we are going to drop the whole pig, and go with brisket and maybe pulled pork with side dishes and snacks and most likely no cost at all. The pig bbq needs a different planning strategy that isn't going to work in such a short timeframe.

CO2 is definitely taken care of, jockey box is another story. I bring my rolling garbage can, fill it full of ice, and then serve from the keg inside there, from a picnic tap. Ghetto, to be sure, but hopefully the beer makes up for the appearance!

I will also have a box capable of 3, maybe 4 kegs.
