day after my last exam... I'll be going.

I'd be up for coming out.

I'm going to try and make this meeting, and bring a bottle of each of my brews for some critism

Sackville here, was trying to figure out how I would get to this event without a car.

So two (or three..) votes for a Timberlea location.

Downs, check out the bus schedule, a transfer to the 21 might work out for you?

My recollection is that coming from Sackville by bus it's difficult to connect with anything going to Lacewood, where one would catch the 21. Maybe 16 or 18 along the Dreadford Highway, but at that time of night the waits would likely be long. Another possibility is to take the 89 from Cobequid to Lacewood, although I've never taken it and don't know how late it runs.

google maps, select transit. Its sync'd with the HRM bus schedules.....no comment on the buses actually following the schedule

Not altogether interested in going too far out of town.

I'd prefer of it was in town as well.. a bit easier for car-less me to get to an from. If it does end up being in timberlea, is there anyone who could offer me a drive?

Ok folks, sounds like Jeff would like to host as well and others wouldn't mind it being in town, so Jeff's it is. I still plan on being there, looking forward to it.

Don't feel discouraged though. We've had successful meetings out of town, such as at John and Anita's in July. Personally I think meetings in places further away work best in spring and summer, but that could just be the guy who biked to Sambro.

No worries, I'll throw my hat in the ring again soon to host.

I'd say it is as common for two people to show up the first time as one on their own.

I think we are closing in on our 27th year, by the way. Pretty sure it was 1985 when we started.

I can't make it again thanks to a Christmas concert, but anyone attending the meeting may also want to hit H&T ahead of time for the Propeller/Nash Imperial ESB launch.

I missed the last 3 or 4 (that were on the table when I left - I wouldn't be surpised if more showed up later...)

We also had three homebrews - including TimG's first all-grain brew, a very nice IPA. Tim kept trying to disclaim responsibility, but I'm sure Hogie was only present as quality control. Be warned Tim, I haven't been as happy with any of my all-grain beers as I was with my first. It's downhill from here!

Thanks for the kind words about the IPA (I am happy with it, though as I said this is really a Brewnosers/Aleanders collaboration beer!).
