[Meeting] Halifax Monthly Meeting - April 10th

Post by Seanstoppable » Mon Apr 02, 2012 9:20 pm

So, I am actually going to be in town next week, when the monthly meeting is supposed to be.

Maybe everyone is tired of beer after the Rye session of Saturday, but I certainly hope not.

Tired of beer? Craving more!

So, dare I say, how about we have this one at my place? I'm in Woodlawn, Dartmouth, just a skip from the circ highway. 6 kegs on tap... I might regret this, lol.

I'm cool with that. I can probably drive over if I don't have to work.

Sounds good there will be a few of us coming from tantallon. Does anyone ever bring beer to trade with each other to these events? More specifically to trade and take home?

I don't think we've done much of that, but I don't see why it couldn't be done.

I like the idea of trading some bottles and having more variety on hand.

Where im kinda new just would like to try as much as I can just so I know what I like and don't like without brewing a whole batch. Sometimes if you just taste a little at the meeting it isn't quite enough to tell if you will really like it or not. Just an idea I will bring some extra beer to the meeting to trade up.

If I can manage to get some stuff bottled, I'll try to get a couple different brews for you.

I would be interested in trading some bottles as well - next month though as I have another event already on April 10th.

Don't think I'll be making this one, I'll either be in Yarmouth or Sudbury. I'm hoping for Yarmouth :x
