Brewnosers' July Monthly Meeting
Hi folks,
The Brewnosers Monthly Meeting will be this coming Tuesday, July 10. I thought I would offer up my place for the event, out in Spryfield. If you are unsure of the details, please PM or e-mail me.
Same Bat-Time as usual: 7:30 for an 8pm start. For new members: this is your chance to share your latest homebrew creations with some brothers- and sisters-in-arms. Also, if you've picked up some interesting beers here or away, and wanted to share a great find, this is the time to do it! If you don't have any interesting beer to bring, fear not! A snack of some sort (crackers, bread, cheese, etc) would be appreciated.
Anyone willing to carpool out from the Peninsula, maybe we could set up a carpool here. The biking out to here isn't too bad, I'm just off Herring Cove Rd, between the Sobeys and Canadian Tire.

I might be able to make this one....
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

I too may be able to make this one... I have Black Death (Baltic Porter Brewed by Viking Brewery - Vifilfell Ltd. Iceland) for the masses to try (well, a few bottles anyhow).

Yarg, my plans may have changed, so I may not be able to host (or even attend). If someone is definitely able to host, feel free to take over. Or if you want to wait until I have a firm schedule, that's fine.

......and, I'm out now too. Apparently, I'm spending that set of days off on Big Island.

It's looking like a beautiful evening for a bike ride, DirtChicken. That's probably how I'll get out there but I'm pretty slow.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

Re: Brewnosers' July Monthly Meeting
Looking forward to seeing y'all tomorrow! Just a reminder PM for my address, new members are VERY welcome. Share some homebrew, share some cool commercial beers you've bought here and away, or bring a small snack. There will probably be a dozen people, so if you are able to bring a big bottle, or two small ones, that should mean enough for everyone to get a little taste. The idea ISN'T to get trashed (most of us work the next day), the idea is to try some new and interesting beer, and meet up to share brewing and beer and food stories.

Re: Brewnosers' July Monthly Meeting
Check your bus route - it may be one which takes bikes. That's possibly how I'll come home, but I usually just bike. Speaking of which, the city was beautiful around 1:30 this morning. Perfect weather for biking/walking. Ended up taking the long way home... Tomorrow promises much of the same.TimG wrote:Will be there! Hoping to make it. I believe this is the vanilla bean order I got in on. Must check and see what I have to share.

Might be a bit late depending on when I get out of work tomorrow night. Have a couple of home brews to share.
