MOOvember Brew Party in the Valley Nov 17th

Post by HPhunter » Sun Oct 07, 2012 8:35 pm

As loosely discussed last night at the Hart and Thistle, I would like to host a Moovember Brew party. I know its a trip for most brewnosers to get to my place. I have lots of room to stay at my house for people looking to crash. I will provide meat from my grass fed cow, and other local grub. It will allow me to show off my recent upgrades in the brewery, and a for you guys(and Girls) to sample some beers. This will be held inside my brewery which can easily hold a couple hundred people so weather is not an issue. I am 2km from Exit 15 on the 101 highway, you can see it from the highway.
Looking for any ideas to make this a success.

I'll be there, maybe with EZ in tow. Camping (even indoors) might be out, any cabins or motels nearby?

In order of closest to my place, these are the best options.
Sun Valley Motel
Allens Motel
Greensboro Inn
I can give rides from these places to my house, and a Cab ride back.

Thanks brother! I'll run it by the boss and let you know.
Cow sounds perfect to me, can we bring some sides/other supplies? Maybe we could throw together a spreadsheet for signups, etc. Might be useful for carpooling, too.
Washer toss tournament, anyone? :)

Washer toss sounds good, I can get a couple dozen sets from the local club that I volunteer for. A spreadsheet of sides and carpooling would be good, I will supply all the main course meats. I will have lots of beer on tap. If someone has a Beer recipe/type idea for this I can brew up a 400L batch of Moovember Ale.

Of course, though I don't know how ridiculous the cost would be.

Hi folks, I've created a spreadsheet. Please sign up so Jeff/we have an idea of how many are coming.

Jeff, please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help.
Do you have enough time to brew a MOOvember beer? We haven't given you a recipe yet...

So is there an indoor floor to crash on or will it be tents?
