The cask night is at the Prop brewery right? Not at the Brooklyn Warehouse? Jeez I don't have my ticket on me right now...

At Propeller on Gottingen. Brooklyn is just supplying some edibles.

They had the Brooklyn Dark Ale in the cask (The taste changed through the night. My third glass was my favourite). Brooklyn served up beef cheek sandwiches with horseradish cream and pumpkin jam. Very good but the ciabatta buns were a bit too chewy for sliders (pushed all the filling out when trying to bite into them).

Thanks for the report. Pumpkin as well, or no? And what is the Brooklyn Dark Ale? Porter+Bitter?

Only the pumpkin jam (well they my have had pumpkin on tap but I stuck to the cask ale once tapped).

RateBeer indicates BDA is a blend of Porter and Honey Wheat Ale.

Ya my third glass was better too, seemed slightly more hoppy. The guy said the third glass was from their second cask, generally seemed more happy with it. First two seemed a bit flat, sort of. I can't remember if I saw them using a pump or not, I think they were just straight pouring?
Kinda seemed brown alish, but heavier, almost caramel taste.

Interesting. At the previous cask night they announced the next cask would be the pumpkin ale with something unique done to it. Guess they changed their minds!
