Superbowl @ H&T

Post by mr x » Sat Dec 29, 2012 2:37 pm

Anyone interested in getting hammered?

Last year we went to the RB, and it was a reasonable turnout. Judging from the recent brunch turnouts, I expect a big turnout this time. Those who choose to do other stuff (dumb, lol) certainly missed a great meal and a fun day. Yes you read that right, it was at the RB and the food was great.

Anyway, just throwing this out for discussion.

Yeah, I'm in...even though I don't watch football. If I remember correctly, last year there wasn't a whole lot of football watching going on.

I firmly believe that I am the only person who watches football, but everyone else seemed to be having a good time regardless.

Where the fuck is my dancing banana! :D

I may be in. Usually watch pre-game with the young guy but end up watching the game by myself.

That was a good time last year!

We could do it again at RB, or H&T to switch it up. I'd be up for curing and smoking more meats for the eats :cheers2:

I had a great time at the H&T last week, so I'd be up for that again. Maybe time for another spam pm I think.

Perfect! H&T works for me. I think I'll have the RIS on tap by then as well.

I think I will likely make it out for that! Assuming Gavin comes with, you'll have at least one other person to actually watch the game with you haha.

My SPAM is epic you fucker. I give it a good sear then poach it in maple syrup low-and-slow for 4 hrs. Then wrap it in bacon and smoke it on oak for 2 hrs. Serve it up with a side of scrambled eggs hammered with Habanero Tabasco, add a huge slab of egg-washed Texas Toast stuffed with sauteed bananas, ground cinnamon sticks, espresso beans, whip cream and Brown Ale Gastrique. Garnish that shit with double-smoked pig-candy bits then add a Kriek-marinated, Julienned fresh strawberry as a foil and for a bit of colour. Epic.Like.Balls. pUt iT iN yOuR mOuTh.

PS: Your prescription sunglasses were epic as fuck. I wore them for 3 days before I (A) realized they weren't mine, and (B) accidentally dropped them in the wood chipper as I was shredding a 200 lb batch of hop candy. Sorry.

I think you forgot to add hops to cover any flaws. :P

Sadly won't be in town to taste the epic SPAM. :(

Best looking Spam recipe I've ever seen! Won't be able to make the event, wish I could. May make a run up before hand to top up my liquid hop levels with some IPA's though!
