May 14th Monthly Meeting - Clayton Park

It's almost a month away, but I'm volunteering to host this one. I'm located in Clayton Park @ 81 Solutions Drive - Buzzer/Apt 211

For those driving, there is visitor parking in front of the building. If the visitor parking is full, the back parking lot has lots of room and there are no assigned parking spots.

For those bussing, there's a bus stop on Lacewood near Swiss Chalet (The 4, 21, 35, 52, and 89 stop there) and I'm about a 5 min walk from there.

https://maps.google.ca/maps?q=81+soluti ... 16&start=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As usual, meeting starts at 8 but the doors open at 7:30.

See ya'll here :spilly:

I can get out but I'll likely be looking for a lift back to the North End. Even a Dartmouth car taking the McKay.

99% sure I'll be able to make it.
Might be able to convince EZ to come too if we can get some female guarantees. She likes hanging with y'all! :)

I think I'll be able to make this one too. It'll be my first meeting, but I have high hopes for the brew I just kegged today. I think my brewing buddy will be coming too. I'll let him speak up though, because you never know for sure with SWMBO running the show lol.

Just an update, it's looking good for EZ to join me, so there'll be at least a couple partners coming along who aren't as coo coo for beer as the rest of us.
If your wife/gf/partner has ever told you that you're the biggest beer nerd out there, bring her along to show her there are people much worse! ;)

You can bring a snack of some sort if you'd like, but it's definitely not a requirement.

It's sounding like it will be a good turnout; including a few first timers :spilly:

Anyone who hasn't attended a meeting yet, pop on by...it's a good time!

I'm new to the forum but thinking I may come to the meeting this week. What generally happens at the meetings? Like should I bring anything? I don't have any homebrew just yet as my first batch is still in primary. I'm just curious!

It's basically just a few hours of standing around and drinking homebrew and commercial beer that's generally not available locally.

No need to bring anything, though if you really want to, you can bring a snack of some sort. I've already picked up chips and crackers/pepperoni/cheese.
