I think it's about that time to start thinking about another Truro meeting. I'm going to throw Thursday March 6th out there around 7pm ish. I'd like to give someone else a chance to host as I heard others at the last meeting saying they would like a chance. I don't have any weekends off for awhile so let me know what you think. I noticed we have a lot of Hop heads in the crew so a few weeks ago I started a Citra Hop Double IPA. I'm dry hopping this baby with more Citra and Centennial. I'll have a few others to sample as well.

I'll not make it to this one for sure, but in the event of an April meeting I'll be bringing back some local brews from Quebec City in March that we can break into.

I was talking to Pete aka Hub Brewer and with the upcoming Garrison Brew off the following week we are going try for a later date in March early April to spread things out.

I can do March 6th but later is good also. I can host if we need somewhere depending upon the date.

Sounds good Jeff. Let's wait until the dust settles with the Garrison Competition and look at the end of March.

Later in March would work better for me as well...I'm fresh out of brew at the moment!

Sandy has offered to run any orders up to the meeting from Halifax. If you want to put in an order and not pay shipping get it in by tonight! Just add a note in the notes section that it needs to go to the Truro meeting and it'll be there waiting for you.

Just got a text from Pete. Thanks for the offer Dave and Sandy. I've got enough supplies to last until the wide mouth fermenters come in and then I'll head to EverwoodAve to pick them up and stock up on supplies. Anyone from Truro or nearby wishing to have anything picked up let me know as I'm more that happy to do it.

When is Sandy coming thru? Or is he waiting until we have the next meeting? Would be great to have him. We need to look at a date.

I'm at the Halifax meeting. I can hold stuff for you. I will be going to CB in the next few months.

Ok guys time to start thinking about a beer appreciation night. Jeff aka Mac Brew mentioned to me he would be up for hosting a get-together but needed some notice. What do you guys think of April 22 or 23rd? I find with my limited weekends off they are saved for family time so thru the week works better for me. If those dates don't work for Jeff I can host again or we can let someone else have a chance.

How about April 30th? I can host but cannot do April 22-23rd.

30th works a little better for me. Though after tasting Mark's black IPA last night, I'll make it to whatever date he chooses.

I can do the 30th as well! Mmm Black IPA. I hope there is some left to sample on the 30th.

know i'll be in town 22-23 hoping to be there for the 30th. Predicting my work schedule too far in advance is like predicting NS weather, you know its going to rain but just now quite sure when

I'm out for the 30th...can't do wednesdays in general. I can't make any promises the black ipa will be in existence for much longer...this keg is going in record time. I should hopefully have some India Brown on the go relatively soon...just kegged it Sunday.

looks like I'll be around and be able to make it. i killed my keg of black ipa last night but there still is a 1 liter bottle conditioned in the basement i can bring as well as the falconers flight once the over carbonation issue is resolved

What time is the meeting starting? My son has ball hockey until 8PM...I may be able to stop by after I get him home...would be closer to 9pm though by the time i get there. Derek...you had me Double IPA!

I see Jeff hasn't signed on the site for a bit so I fired him off a text to see if he was still up for it and get his address. I think he is over in Brookside. I'll bring a growler of my Double IPA, ESB and possibly another. Look forward to it!

Mark I would imagine after 7pm but I'll let you know when I hear back from Jeff. Definitely come whenever you can and I know I'll still be there at 9pm. Mark I did my last double IPA with Citra and loved it. That keg went dry fast but I started one a little over a week ago. I hopped it up to 120 ibu's with Columbus and Centennial and just did Nash's hop tea dry hop technique with 2 oz Centennial and 2 oz Columbus. I wanted a hop bomb for you hop heads. Should end up being about 8%.
