[meeting]- monthly meeting -June
Good to hear from you, Rick!
No one has spoken up, so if you're willing, we're able!
When: June 10th 7:30 for 8pm start. Meetings can go till 11pm or 1am, depending on the month.
Where: rickc's joint, North End Halifax. PM him for details.
Who: You! We will have a great mix of new homebrewers, though who have been brewing for 10+ years, commercial brewers, and those who just like to drink the results of their hard work.
How: That's up to you, but we strongly encourage carpooling, using Halifax Transit, or making plans on how to get back home safe.
What: Get together to share your homebrew wins (and fails), interesting beers from across the province, and around the world. We try to share beer that most of us would not have the ability to otherwise try. Special beers from the local breweries or brewpubs, out-of-province purchases, specialty beers from the private beer stores in HRM, etc. Snacks for sharing are welcome too. We usually aim for two 355ml bottles/cans, or one bomber, to ensure there's enough to go around.
Don't worry if you don't have any "worthy" beer to bring, snacks are a welcome alternative.
Everyone is welcome to come, friends and partners are definitely welcome too!

Hey! This is coming up, is everyone still good to go for Tuesday? We're having so much fun around the fire, we can't wait to do it again in 3 days.

Everything is good to go on my end. I will have an ESB, an American Brown and a Root Beer on tap for sampling!

Perfect! If the timing works out, could I give you a lift, Sandy, and also grab a bunch of growlers?

So far it's looking like I'll be there Tuesday. I likely won't be able to get out before the meeting to pick up any interesting beer so I'll bring some snacks.

Beer is in the running for the healthiest of all alcoholic beverages. It has antibiotic, antimicrobial, and antifungal properties. It has been proven that drinking up to 3 beers a day decreases your risk of heart disease by around 30% and it also lowers your risk of getting diseases like diabetes. Beer is also chock full of important vitamins and minerals that you need to survive.

Tonight isn't looking good for me. Spoke with the wife and it looks like she will be working late. If things change I'll be there with something tasty.

Too bad, Keith.
From the rumblings in the crowd, it looks like we'll still have a nice turnout, come on out to Agricola Street for some fun tonight, guys and gals!
If you're not sure of the exact address, TEXT me (I won't see PMs), or PM rickc. See y'all around 8ish.
