Red Duster APA at the Moustache
I'm up on the top déck here. Friday aft. The beer is maybe a bit less delicious than past weeks. But still a great session.
Some slightly elevated phenols. But hops and malt so balanced it wins.

Re: Red Duster APA at the Moustache
It's a dirty lil' whore. It fermented like a ho when the electricity went down thanks to Hurricane Arthur. I pitched sizable and very healthy liquid slurry at 1:00 pm Friday, electricity went down 24 hrs later and was out for at least 8 - 10 hrs. Nobody let me know the power had gone out in the building so I didn't go in to check on it but I expect ferment temps likely exceeded 85-90 F. That's right.

Pfft if I could get drinkable beer that fermented at that temp my beer would not be so shitty in July and augustNASH wrote:It's a dirty lil' whore. That explains the phenols. It was also served colder than usual I think. Or I was just thirsty and drank it faster.
