Spring Truro Meeting

OK folks...we're due. Spring is almost here, and we're due for another get together (also because I don't remember most of the last one :drunk: )...so let's discuss some possible dates. I could likely host again, unless someone else would like to...I'm easy. Shoot for the end of the month perhaps? Let's see if we can get some new faces to attend.

I'm game. Jeff mentioned he wanted to host and you guys are always welcome here as you know. We can try to rotate it around. If it's a weekend you guys want it on early next month after Easter would work best for me. April 11th the Saturday I could swing. That work for anyone?

Lets do it. I have a work function the 27th but can probably be there 830-9pm so can't host that date. I texted Jeff to check the forum as he possibly wanted to host.

I can attend the 27th but would rather not host this time. I have a day long event on the 28th that starts at 8:30am so would need to bow out early and I know how late these can go! I will host the next one for sure.

Got the approval from the boss...I can host. So Friday, March 27th, anytime after 7pm. Bring beer. I'll try to work on having some homemade pizzas again.

Thanks Mark and can't wait for the beer and your homemade pies  . My Chocolate Vanilla RIS and English Brown should be ready by then. Mark wish our Belgian IIPA and IIPA would be ready then. 24 oz of hops in a 12 gallon batch.

I don't have much of a newish face...... But seeing that the invite was put to me by woody, and I am off. So I would like the opportunity to attend and meet the local brew crew that Woody speaks so highly of.

A few points of info for you guys:

1.) McKay - I have your element housing from Bluenose that I'll drop with Steve.
2.) Do any of the Truro boys need PIN LOCK disconnects? I have 4 sets to give to anyone who might need them.
3.) Steve. I'm taking the pot down to you. I was in contact with Dave and he'll be bringing my new 19 gallon pot to the meet after 10:30 I believe. I also have a pound of EKG hops

Thanks Trevor! Asked around last night about the pin lock disconnects...everyone seems to be using ball locks. Thanks for the offer though!

Great turn out last night...biggest showing yet. Homebrewing is strong in Truro! Some great brews...and not regretful of my choice to break out the sample glass! Feeling good this morning. my SMaSH ipa didn't fare so well however...we went threw pretty much the whole keg...drops left this morning. Either it was good or all that was left!

Thanks to everyone who showed up...had a blast! Already looking for the next one.
