Steve I think you told me I should. Not sure I can up that epic spent grain bread and chilli you made. I'll just try and up the beer!Steeveo wrote:I'm in.

Woody told me he was going to slow cook ribs on the weber and make a homemade bbq sauce made out of RIS. I'm going to be fasting for the 72hrs beforehand.

Now your putting words in my mouth! lol I like the idea Mark but I'm thinking pulled pork with RIS bbq sauce. Weber is tucked away nicely in the garage. Thanks for the idea.

Take any home made bbq sauce say ketchup, water, brown sugar , cider vinegar, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, ground mustard, lemon juice, sugar etc. and add RIS until it tastes good and the consistency is right. I'd substitute RIS in place of Worcestershire sauce. Ok just sold myself! Done pulled pork with RIS bbq sauce. Damn you McKay.

What an impressive sell: Seed planted, worked over by a pro and without realizing it......he made the commitment to purchase.
I love pulled pork. It goes great with beer

Mac_Brew is alive! You princess's have dessert. lol Meanwhile I'll be serving up Mosiac IIPA, Grain Reaper Imperial Stout, Black Eye PA and Woody's Winter Ale. My IIPA is hammered with Mosiac and honey and clock's in at 8.5%. I used a Wyeast 1272 for same tart fruity flavours. Tastes like 5% aka knock out juice. Bring your training wheels boys.

I wonder if your Winter Ale tastes like mine? Perhaps another showdown?! I have arisen from the dead and will break the sanctity of my alcohol fast at said event. Looking forward to it...
