So how many bottles (and size) do we need to drop off? Also what's the cut off for the drop off date? Since the review is on the 4th does that mean we need to have them dropped off by the 3rd? Morning of the 4th? Sorry for all the questions, I'm cutting it close on one of my beers and I'm trying to make sure it's carbed in time.

Kevin - if you are willing to come steward we would really appreciate that.
Ivor - I guess I was never really clear on that. Two bottles should be enough, with a cut off being the end of business day Friday.

Hey everyone,

We just finished up, it was a good time. We had a lot of good and interesting beers. The plan for score sheets is I'll just stay at work a bit late on Monday and use the scanner there, and then email them out. We mostly did this as a way to provide feedback and training for new judges, but as promised we did do a best of show round. The winners:

1 - Mike Digdon (Buccaneer) - Doppelbock
2 - Justin Clarke (jacinthebox) - Brett Beer, Best Bitter base style
3 - Frank Muise (muise) - British Brown Ale

Congrats to the winners, and thanks to everyone who participated.

Thanks for putting this together, it's nice to have a bit of an informal review since I've never entered anything before. I look forward to seeing the comments on my two entries. Hopefully they weren't too bad haha.

To the judges: Thanks for the feedback. I've been noting a pinch of astringency in a few of my brews lately (including the Stillwell open brew) and it was good to see it acknowledged by some pros (however slight it may have been) time to check my processes.Glad we could involve the shop, and kudos to Andrew for organizing.
