I saw four 23 litre carboys at Value Village in Halifax today, $18 each.

I picked one of them up. They are 18.9L not 23.

Good guess from a glance. They were all in pretty good shape, no scratches or defects that I noticed.

Yeah, but overpriced for Value Village. I've noticed that they price some thing based simply on size.

Re: carboys at Value Village
i find its pretty sporatic with pricing overall. Not sure who it is that buys beer glasses on here from VV, but they're cheaper there in NS (3 for a dollar or something?)...here in nb.... 0.99 each...Not that big of a deal, but then $18 for a carboy, aren't they $25 or so new? I got lucky at the one here, picked up a buon vino minijet filter for $9.99KMcK wrote:Yeah, but overpriced for Value Village. I've noticed that they price some thing based simply on size.

Glasses here are 0.99 each or 6 for 1.99 so if there are two I want I tend to get a few more anyway.
