I was perusing ebay and just picked up two of these Fermometer for my new carboy's for $9.15 shipped! Here is the link if anyone is interested:

I made an offer of $3 each for two units ($6 total) and it was only an additional $3 for shipping. Pretty sweet deal!

I think those are overpriced.
At least, my local homebrew shop is selling them for $2.50, pickup included, and you can find them on amazon even cheaper.
I guess it doesn't matter much at $9, but if anyone was planning to get several you would save a few bucks by shopping around.

I just picked up one at Noble Grape for around $3. HOWEVER, the one thing about these ebay ones is that the temperatures are more in the brewing rance 36F-78F, while the NG are 58-88F. Not very good if trying to do a lager. Thanks OP.

Many of us group bought a gazillion similar strips at a very attractive price so there will be plenty around for a while.

Yes they worked out to just over $1 each. There were 2 ranges as well - and buying 2 stickers was still cheaper than one from pretty much anywhere else. I didn't order any extras but you might be able to find someone who ordered more than they needed, or if someone wants to organize another group buy, I can assist with the details once it comes time to order. Just don't pay $7 for one on Ebay...KMcK wrote:Many of us group bought a gazillion similar strips at a very attractive price so there will be plenty around for a while.
