9 gallon aluminum turkey fryer Biab * new price

Post by msr53 » Sat Apr 29, 2017 12:16 pm

BIAB Aluminum Turkey fryer set. Has weldless stainless steel spigot and 1/2" stainless steel nipple

Great for BIAB brewing with the inner basket, just lift your grains out when your mash is done.

Burner has never been used, haven't had time to put it together.

Moving to a smaller place and will have to down size equipment. Great for 5 and 6 gallon batches.

$80

I have this same setup at home without the spout. If you don't kind me asking how you drilled the hole for the spout?

It's pretty easy. I started with a small drill bit for a pilot hole, 1/8" or 1/4", then I used a step bit from Crappy tire. My step bit is slightly too small to fit the 1/2" nipple, so I need to use a rounded file to make the hole a little bigger. And when drilling I used some cooking oil to keep the temperature down and prevent the drill bit from grabbing.
If u need help and are in the city I can help Ya out
