Saw some danby minifridges without freezers at costco the other day... $150.
I think that they're pretty much the same one that I have... you'll need to replace the shelves on the door with a flat panel to get it to fit two cornies.

You'll want to measure them to make sure they'll fit your set-up though.

I just converted one of these for my neighbor last week. It worked out well! no cooling lines in the top. they are all along the back.

I can't tell from the photo - they still have the compressor 'hump'? I'm assuming they do... I found a fridge a while back that uses solid state cooling so no bump and it's PERFECT for a carboy. Temp control was a piece of cake as well with just a series resistor. I can't find another fridge like it anywhere!

Yes, they still have the compressor hump (that's where I place my CO2 Tank).

Hmmm... What is that unit intended for? Does it have a make and model? How did it work for you?

I wouldn't be so sure about that! They started making this style fridge around 2007 and MANY of them have gone down from a top hole drilled in the wrong spot. There was no right spot since the gas lines seemed to be randomly laid throughout the foam top so it was always a guessing game. We made a bunch of them in Moncton, luckily we had a mechanic that would vacuum the system out, silver solder the damaged piping and refill them with gas so we could continue on with the build. We started carefully cutting a hole in the plastic top then chipping foam out looking for compressor lines before drilling all the way through which helped save a few of them from repair.

I did the pilot hole and inspection first too.

could also try doing the corn starch trick too maybe? even doing that, i'd probably still do the pilot hole...chip away procedure just to be safe.
