Looking for hop rhyzones

Post by sleepyjamie » Wed Dec 28, 2011 3:58 pm

Does anyone on here have any hop ryhzones they are willing to spare? My mom has quite a bit of land that I'd like to start doing some growing.

Cheers.

We ordered some last spring through Meander River. Some of mine grew; others didn't. Maybe we'll order again this year.

Yes. I think Rob Douglas organized it. The discussion is here and the spreadsheet is here.

I'll probably have some cascade and golding rhizomes in the spring.

I'd be interested in either of those when the time comes.

Great, I'll PM you both around April, when the ground thaws. I hate throwing them out, but I have nowhere to plant more.

If anyone is experienced with removing rhizomes that would also be a help. I've cut them off, but since I've never replanted any I can't be completely sure that I'm doing it right.
